Pilates For Runners | Part 1: Mobility
Mobility is an important physical capacity for recreational runners to address. And one that is widely overlooked. Un-addressed muscular tightness can lead to imbalances around the joints, increase stress placed upon connective tissues and can lead to sub-optimal running mechanics. In the worst cases this can lead to niggles and injuries that impair performance.
So if you're not doing running specific stretches or mobility drills, or you're just looking for something new to add to your training plan, then come and get involved!
